This is one of the simple tip for increasing system boot/start up speed. This tip work in systems with two or more processors. Most of the new computers came up dual core or more higher configurations. Most of the new systems will have two or more processors. But by default windows use either one of the processors for boot the windows. Windows did not use the full processing power of your system to boot. We can increase the processors in the system boot up process and increase the speed of start up of the system. The steps are given below
Got to Run
Type msconfig
Select the tab Boot. Got to advanced options button and click it
Select the number of processors option. And select all the processors and click on Apply and Ok.
Just Restart machine
And see the increased speed of your system.
