Problem/Bug n invoicing VP parcel articles to BO- update 8

 After  the up gradation of update 8 to megh 7.0  while invoicing the VP parcel articles to Branch office even if we entered VP amount correctly but after viewing it shows that VP amount as 0. Even if we add VP parcels of various amounts also while viewing or taking returns it shows that VP amount as Zero.  
The solution given by the CEPT mysore is given below

 Please download latest postman.exe (from the link below). Rename the exe which is inside the Postman  folder . Now paste the latest exe which you have downloaded in that folder.

                        I am directed to convey the approval of the President of India for payment of Productivity Linked Bonus for the accounting year 2012-2013 equivalent of emoluments of 60 (Sixty) days to the employees of Department of Posts in Group `D`,Group `C` and non Gazetted Group `B`. Ex-gratia payment of Bonus to Gramin Dak Sevaks who are regularly appointed after observing all appointment formalities and adhoc payment of Bonus to Casual labourers who have been conferred Temporary Status are also to be paid equivalent to allowance/wages respectively for 60 (sixty) Days for the same period.

1.1              The calculation for the purpose of payment of Bonus under each category will be done as indicated below.

After 29/09/2013 eMO, ePayment, Speed Net Communication and Accounts MIS Clients were not transmitting due to PTC Mysore certificate has been expired. 

Error Message: Error in Communication The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.

Solution:

Solution provided by PTC Mysore.

1. Download Attached Certificate issues.zip file from PoTools.

2. Kindly register the certificate by double clicking on the file RegisterCACft.exe

3. This certificate is not appicable for R NET COMMUNICATION.

The mouse wheel  with a combination of  Control (Ctrl) key can zoom in and Zoom out a web page, word/excel spread sheet etc. We can zoom the pages using ctrl key and Mouse scroll wheel

We can use the wheel of the  Mouse to control the volume  by using the volumouse software

Triple clicking a mouse-In a paragraph any word can be selected by double clicking the left button of the mouse like this  we can high light the whole paragraph by triple clicking the mouse pointer on any character on the paragraph

Delay in Invoicing Registered articles in Postman ???

Hello viewers, After 15 days i got a solution for the problem. Some of us may experience this problem. After the introduction of Rnet and Virtual  bag  it shows some delay in opening the Invoicing screen of Postman module. Some times it shows some time in opening the invoice screen. After that it works normally. We checked various methods contacted various System Administrators then also no positive reply received.

P Sathasivam to be new Chief Justice of India

President Pranab Mukherjee Friday administered the oath of office to Justice P. Sathasivam as the chief justice of India (CJI).

Justice Sathasivam, 64, is the 40th CJI and the first from Tamil Nadu. He will remain in office till April 26, 2014. He succeeded CJI Altamas Kabir, whose last day in office was Thursday.

64-year-old Sathasivam has joined as a permanent judge of the Madras High Court in January 1996 after which he was transferred to the Punjab and High Court in April 2007.

He was appointed as a Supreme Court judge on August 21, 2007.

Kerala's First all women post office

At PMG Junction in the capital city of Kerala Thiruvananthapuram, the state’s first all-women post office has opened its doors to the public. All four employees of PMG Junction Post Office (695 033), very near to Chief Postmaster General Office, the post master to the helper, are all women. The post office will be officially inaugurated on 05.07.2013 (Friday), it has already caught the public eye, with its staff.

Post master S. Shanthi, postal clerk R. Manju, stamp vendor C. Chandrika, and helper Latha Kumari — gaining star status among the customers. Congratulatory messages and sweet packets are pouring into the post office, and so are best wishes notes, the staff members say.

26 Applicants for Banking License

A total of 26 applications were received, including those from the usual corporate heavyweights like L&T, the Tata group (Tata Sons has applied, not Tata Capital), Reliance Capital, Aditya Birla Nuvo, Bajaj Finserv, Videocon (in the name of Aurangabad-based Value Industries), apart from infrastructure financier IDFC, gold loan company Muthoot Finance, realty developer Indiabulls, micro financier Bandhan and Bangalore-based Janalakshmi. SKS Microfinance, India’s only listed microfinance company, was absent, though its chief financial officer had said it would consider applying.

Among surprise entries were Noida-based little-known Smart Global Ventures and Gurgaon-based advisory services firm INMACS Management. UAE Exchange India, a remittance and foreign exchange services firm and Suryamani Financing, part of the Kolkata-based Pawan Kumar Ruia group also joined the fray.

The Department of Posts, Tourism Finance Corporation and government-owned financial institution IFCI were among the public-sector entities that applied.

Apart from these, India Infoline, Religare, Edelweiss, Magma Fincorp, Muthoot Finance and SREI Infra Finance were also on the list of aspirants. In a statement issued on Monday, India Infoline said former Corporation Bank chairman, V K Chopra, would head its banking foray.

Unzip the file to DBAnalyzer folder in server. Logout of Sanchay Post from all the clients and server. Backup POST database Execute "JuneScs_Si.exe" This exe should be executed after day-begin of 29/06/2013 and before day-end of 29/06/2013. The exe will display the total amount after finishing SI posting. This amount should be added to the counter transactions LOT. This exe will work upto 06/07/2013. If executed after 29/06/2013, the SI amount will be reflected in the LOT of the date of execution. Click here to download patch file

India Post applies for bank licence

MUMBAI: With the Reserve Bank of India's deadline for applying for a bank licence fast approaching, the number of companies that have joined the list is rising. IndiaInfoline, Bajaj Finserv and the India Post are among the recent entities that have joined the ranks of licence seekers. 

"Bajaj Finserv Ltd has submitted its application to Reserve Bank of India on June 26, 2013 for a Licence to commence banking business in terms of section 22 of the Banking Companies Act, 1949. It is proposed to do this by converting its subsidiary Bajaj Finance Ltd into a Bank in terms of RBI Guidelines for Licensing of New Banks in the Private Sector dated February 22, 2013" the company said in a statement. 

Although the postal department has been expressing its ambitions to float a bank for long, RBI would have to create a special dispensation for India Post as it does not fit into several of the criteria prescribed by the central bank. Besides the prescribed norms, the postal department would face a huge challenge in putting in place a core banking solution that would facilitate a centralized view of all its accounts. However, there are many who feel that the postal department is ideally suited to spread RBI's objectives of financial inclusion. The department already mobilizes small investments through the postal saving scheme and it has a network that is larger than any bank.
