Error while going for Project arrow Request Registration /Status updation

Yesterday i got a call from one office about one sanchaya post error. This error occurs while  giving Project arrow request registration new form . and exits from sanchaya post module. This occurs while updating project arrow request status updation also. While communication this matter with sdc chennai. They give a solution.


Logout of Sanchay Post in all systems.
Unzip the attached file and copy it to the DBAnalyzer folder and run it from the same location.

This document explains the steps to be followed in generating the Cash account for March, supplementary cash book as well as the supplementary cash account and later the general cash book. Great care may be taken in proceeding with the work.  So, please go through this document entirely, before the work on supplementary accounts is taken up

Declaring the working days for March and April

During the month of March, when the Day begin is done for the first time in the sub accounts module, the Supervisor is expected to enter the last working day in the month of March and the first working day in the month of April.  For the current year 2012, it will be 31.3.2012(last working day in March 2012) and 01.04.2012(first working day in April 2012).  This is taken as the default value in the application. This may kindly be checked up(use the menu Tools – Supplementary dates working as Supervisor).  If there are some other dates, they may be changed to 31.3.2012 and 01.04.2011 respectively, before 31st March.

Wi–Fi internet Facility in Trains

Internet facility using Wi-Fi has been presently planned in three rakes of Howrah Rajdhani Express only, as a pilot project. It is a satellite based system using Wi-Fi for distribution of internet bandwidth in coaches and likely date for implementation of this system is September 25, 2012. The estimated implementation cost of the project is Rs. 6.30 crore.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Railways Shri K. H. Muniyappa in written reply to a question in Lok Sabha on 29.03.12.

Definition of “Permanent Absorption” in PSU etc

The Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) has decided to  introduce a new clause regarding “Permanent absorption” in the CCS (Leave) Rules vide Notification dated 28.03.2012.  As per the new amendment, the term ‘permanent absorption’ used in rule 39-D of CCS Leave Rules, shall mean the appointment of a Government servant in a Public Sector Undertaking or an Autonomous Body, for which he had applied through proper channel and resigns from the Government service to take up that appointment.

GSR……., In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 read with clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor General of India in relation to the persons serving in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Leave) Rules, 1972, namely:-
I. (i) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Leave) (Amendment) Rules, 2012.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of theìr publication in the Official Gazette.

New Chief Secretary(Kerala)- K Jayakumar

The Cabinet on Wednesday decided to promote Additional Chief Secretary K. Jayakumar as Chief Secretary.
Mr. Jayakumar is currently holding charge of Home, Vigilance, Dewaswom, Inter-State Waters, and Agriculture Production Commissioner. He is also functioning as chairman of the high-power committee for implementation of the Sabarimala master plan.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy told the media after the weekly Cabinet meeting that the government would take a decision on relieving Mr. Jayakumar of some of his current responsibilities as he assumed charge as Chief Secretary in place of P. Prabakaran who was retiring on March 31. The Cabinet commended the service of Mr. Prabakaran.
Mr. Jayakumar began his career as a lecturer in Kerala University. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1978 and served as Collector, Director of Tourism, Secretary (Tourism), Secretary (Culture), and Secretary (General Education). He worked as Managing Director of the Kerala Film Development Corporation and Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University. Between 2002 and 2007, he had been on deputation to the Centre as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Culture.

Problem in doing transactions in BPL Accounts -Sanchya post 6.6.1

I upgraded one of our sub post offices to sanchaya post 6.6.1 in yesterday. Today while they are taking transactions in BPL Accounts an error occurs. It shows transaction is not allowed. When i contacted sdc chennai about the error. They replied. The solution is availbale in frequently asked questions. The solution is shown below
We are unable to enter transactions for BPL accounts
solution: For entering transactions in BPL accounts use the SB >> ECS - Debit and credit form (1310) >> Select manual and category as BPL. You will have to select category as INDP for INDP accounts, INWP for INWP accounts and so on.

1.After entering the details in SB >> ECS Debits & Credits form, the transactions are not reflected in LOT.
After entering the details in the COUNTER login, the transaction should be authorized by the Supervisor. Only after the transaction is authorized by the supervisor, it will be reflected in the LOT.
2.Cleared RD PRSS/agent cheques are not shown in ‘RD PRSS Post Entries’ form for selection.
While preparing the cheque list, select the scheme as ‘RDPRSS’ in case of agent’s  providing softcopy of the list created through ‘RD Customer Package 3.0’ provided by SDC with version 6.6.1 . These RD PRSS cheques will be displayed in ‘Post RD PRSS Entries’ form for selection after clearance.
3.RD Bulk cheques are not shown in ‘RD Bulk Acceptance’ form.
While preparing the cheque list, select the scheme as ‘RDBULK’ if the list is to be entered manually through ‘Bulk Posting’ form. RD Bulk cheques will be displayed in ‘RD Bulk Acceptance’ form after clearance.
4.An error message ‘Total amount does not tally’ is received when the cheque is selected for RDPRSS posting/RD bulk acceptance. What is the procedure for calculating cheque amount in case of RD PRSS/RD agents?
RD cheques collected from customers / agents should be for amount payable after deduction of rebate and inclusive of default fee, if applicable. A separate cheque should be collected for each list.
5.We are unable to enter transactions for BPL accounts.
For entering transactions in BPL accounts use the SB >> ECS - Debit and credit form (1310) >> Select manual and category as BPL. You will have to select category as INDP for INDP accounts, INWP for INWP accounts and so on.
6.While performing discharge in  'Encashment of other office KVP / NSC', an error 'To select type of discharge' is displayed.

R NET Communication Problem-Permanent Solution

Dear Friends,
            It is observe that usually Rnet communication stop work without any error due to creation of temp file in communication, hence I had attached one batch file to delete that particular temp file and runninc R net Communication regularly.
            Download  attached Rnet.ba file and rename as Rnet.bat and keep this file in start up where Rnet communication installed. also attached screen shot to keep batch file in startup.
